We all want our children to be able to recognise our favourite vegetables. It is the foundation to let children verbally describe the vegetables we eat and also draw the vegetables with ease.
To help children in learning their vegetables, today we are providing two worksheets – The Common Vegetables Worksheet and The Advanced Vegetables Worksheet, in 8 different languages – English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
The Common Vegetables Worksheet
As the name suggests, this worksheet includes the most basic and common vegetables like apple, mango, orange, watermelon, banana, and grapes. This will help children in identifying these vegetables and they can start drawing them too. Download the sheet in 8 languages with the links given below.

The Advanced Vegetables Worksheet
This worksheet includes vegetables that are slightly more advanced but still can be grasped by the quick learner that your child is. In addition to the 6 vegetables in the Common Vegetables Worksheet, it includes 10 more vegetables.

Some activities that can help your child in learning vegetables
- Recite the names of the vegetables to your child. Then ask the child to point to a vegetable and say its name out loud.
- Use the real vegetables as references to show them the vegetables in the actual sense – so that they can taste and smell them too.
- Ask your child to draw the vegetables and recite their names.
- Have your child mould the vegetables in clay.
