Learning Fruits (Free Common and Advanced Fruits Charts) – in English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada

We all want our children to be able to recognise our favourite fruits. It is the foundation to let children verbally describe the fruits we eat and also draw the fruits with ease.

To help children in learning their fruits, today we are providing two worksheets – The Common Fruits Worksheet and The Advanced Fruits Worksheet, in 8 different languages – English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.

Here are all the fruits in one video

The Common Fruits Worksheet

As the name suggests, this worksheet includes the most basic and common fruits like apple, mango, orange, watermelon, banana, and grapes. This will help children in identifying these fruits and they can start drawing them too. Download the sheet in 8 languages with the links given below.

The Advanced Fruits Worksheet

This worksheet includes fruits that are slightly more advanced but still can be grasped by the quick learner that your child is. In addition to the 6 fruits in the Common Fruits Worksheet, it includes 10 more fruits.

Some activities that can help your child in learning fruits

  1. Recite the names of the fruits to your child. Then ask the child to point to a fruit and say its name out loud.
  2. Use the real fruits as references to show them the fruits in the actual sense – so that they can taste and smell them too.
  3. Ask your child to draw the fruits and recite their names.
  4. Have your child mould the fruits in clay.
